The Purgatory of Tantalus  is a short audio drama I produced for my Advanced Audio class.  Much like the name suggests, the story is a modern retelling of the Greek myth of Tantalus, a mortal man who is punished for his hubris by the gods. In legend, Tantalus is condemned to stand in a pool under a tree, unable to eat the fruit above him or drink the water at his feet. Much like the original version of the tale, Tantalus is grasping for something right out of his reach.
